FAQs

WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP BY?
WHAT IF I DON'T RSVP ON TIME?

To RSVP, click the RSVP button at the top of the site and locate your RSVP using your full name.
Kindly RSVP before August 25th.  If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at your earliest convenience.
Any RSVPs received after August 25th will be marked as a 'No', as we will be sharing final head counts with our wonderful vendors.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

We have tried our best to accommodate our guests, but unfortunately space is limited.
If a plus one has been allotted to you, your save the date and invitation will reflect that.
We look forward to celebrating this special day with our close family and friends.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Yes! The dress code is formal. This means suit and tie for the gentlemen, and mid to long dresses for the ladies (and please avoid wearing white). Please no jeans or sneakers.
The ceremony will be on the lawn, weather permitting; do consider this in your shoe choice.
We can't wait to dress up with you!

HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE?
IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?

We will be supplying transportation from the hotel (Hilton Garden Inn Vanderbilt) to the ceremony and reception.
We are requesting all guests arrive at the hotel in time to catch the buses.
Parking is available at and around the hotel, or it is centrally located for the convenience of Uber or Lyft.
Details will be made available on THE WEDDING page in September.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE IN NASHVILLE?

That is up to you, depending on what you would like to be a part of!
We have planned exciting events from October 17th to October 20th.
We encourage you to celebrate with us during all events, but understand life and travel schedules may not permit.  Review the weekend agenda on THE WEDDING page to help with your planning decisions.

DO YOU HAVE A REGISTRY?

Your presence is the perfect present!
We have been very fortunate to already have everything we need for this exciting chapter (Have you seen how much stuff Aleeshya comes with?)
However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we have created funds for contribution.  Check out THE REGISTRY page for more information.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

CAN I TAKE PICTURES?

We would love for our family and friends to be fully present in the moment with us, so we are having an "unplugged" ceremony.  We ask that our guests silence/turn off their phones and refrain from taking photos and videos during the ceremony. Our beautiful photography team will take care of the photo coverage.
You are more than welcome to take photos and videos during the reception; you will also have the opportunity to share your favourites with us!

IS THERE TIME BETWEEN THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION?

A little bit! Our guests will be transported from the ceremony site to the reception. We promise it will feel less "kidnappy" than it sounds.
Upon arriving at the reception location, we will be hosting a cocktail hour to kickoff an exciting evening.

WILL THE CEREMONY, COCKTAIL HOUR, AND RECEPTION TAKE PLACE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

The ceremony will be outdoors in the afternoon, weather permitting.
The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors with the option to step outside.
We recommend a light cover up or jacket for those easily cold.

HOW WILL YOU COMMUNICATE UPDATES?

We will send out emails directly from this site.
Please keep an eye on your inbox and junk folder, and add us to your safe senders list if you have not already done so.
We promise what we have to say is important!

WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT YOU IF I HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS?

There are a few options!
1. Text Aleeshya and hope she remembers to reply.
2. Text Brendon and hope he remembers to ask Aleeshya.
3. Use our CONTACT US feature.
4. Don't.
